I am a big believer that college is not for everyone and young men and women can build an amazing life as a Skilled Tradesman. MNPS has a great CTE program that introduces students to some of these skills. Reach out at any time if you have a student in MNPS and would like to know more.

Let us never forget the men who sacrificed that day and what they sacrificed for.
They ran into hell on earth because they believed men and women deserve freedom and liberty.
They understood the treachery that would be brought upon their fellow countryman if we were to live under the dominion of Hitler and other power hungry strong men.
Thank you for your sacrifice gentlemen. You saved the world that day.

Budget Public Hearing is this week! Please share with friends, neighbors and family who would benefit from this information.

Even after 3 heads colds, two NASTY stomach bugs, one hyper-extended elbow, and 3 hours of unexpected traffic, we had an awesome family vacation.

District 4 Update - Dandridge Towers Donations

I would like to give a big heartfelt thank you for Deborah H. in District 4.
Deboarh received my office’s outreach for the Dandrige Towers Cleaning Supply Drive to benefit Senior Residents and she pulled her work team at Nashville Aesthetic Dentistry into action. Here is a picture of the supplies they were able to gather for the drive.
Thank you Deborah!

Happy Teacher’s Appreciation Day!
I was fortunate to be able to spend my lunch hour dropping off ice cream at Overton Highschool for our hardworking MNPS Teachers!
A big thank you to Bruster’s Real Ice Cream at Concord Village for reaching out and offering to supply the treats!

- "I would just like to thank Mike Cortese for making it possible for me to get some of my property tax money back. It will help me a lot. Thank you very much." - Lisa, District 4 Resident
It is great to wake up to messages like this and see that our outreach program is working.
My office is working hard to make sure District 4 Residents are informed about all the opportunities our great city has to offer. This specific message was a result of our communication efforts promoting programs that the Nashville Trustee has put in place for Seniors, Disabled Persons, and Disabled Veterans.
I have attached a flyer outlining those programs to this post for reference.
Have a great day!
